What Is The True Church?

It is no surprise that our society is asking the question what is the true church? An alarming article came out yesterday claiming that the Catholic Church is the true church and all other churches are false and basically on the road leading to hell. Yet again this article proves to be an example of what happens when our sinful society tries to define something apart from the scriptures.
As I looked over this crazy article, I was reminded of what Jesus said in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me." You see it is not the Catholic Church or the Pope that is truth and the only way to heaven the Bible clearly says that the entrance is the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus says in John 3:3 that unless a man is born-again, he will not enter into eternal life. Any church needs to be concerned with endorsing things, methods or beliefs that are not even scriptural. Frankly I am not surprised that the Catholic Church came out with this false statement.
