Video: Rick Warren on How We Get To Heaven

Rick Warren was asked a very simple question by Sean Hannity that even a lay-person should be able to answer. Unfortunately his answer is not biblical.

Maybe Rick was lead to say what he said. People have the choice to become a Christian. I think people that are not Christians are lead to Christ by examples more than by what is said. Yes it is very important in what is said as well as what we do. For people that do not know Christ maybe Rick got some people curious and maybe they will go to Church and really try to understand God or pick up a Bible for once and actually read it. That is what we can pray for instead of being critical of others. No one is perfect and it is time for doing what God wants us to do and that is written.

The Greatest Commandment
Mark 12:28 Now 58 one of the experts in the law 59 came and heard them debating. When he saw that Jesus 60 answered them well, he asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?” 12:29 Jesus answered, “The most important is: ‘Listen, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 12:30 Love 61 the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ 62 12:31 The second is: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 63 There is no other commandment greater than these.” 12:32 The expert in the law said to him, “That is true, Teacher; you are right to say that he is one, and there is no one else besides him. 64 12:33 And to love him with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your strength 65 and to love your neighbor as yourself 66 is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” 12:34 When Jesus saw that he had answered thoughtfully, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” Then no one dared any longer to question him.

The Great Commission
Matt.28:16 So 22 the eleven disciples went to Galilee to the mountain Jesus had designated. 28:17 When 23 they saw him, they worshiped him, 24 but some doubted. 25 28:18 Then Jesus came up and said to them, 26 “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 28:19 Therefore go 27 and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 28 28:20 teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, 29 I am with you 30 always, to the end of the age.” 31
